What's a Noisetap?It's a word we made up suggesting the action of tapping into noise. Catchy, right?
What's with the animals? We've assigned each musical genre to a different animal icon. Why? Because we like animals and they make cool icons. Also, the icons tell you which musical genre each story relates to. To only view stories of a particular genre, select the animal from the menu on the top right to be taken to that genre's page.
Where are my favorite genres: blues, folk and reggae?We're in the early stages and plan to add more genres in the future. Thanks for your patience.
How does the rating system work? Users are ranked based on the following participation factors:
- Number of posts
- Number of total votes user received on his/her posts
- Number of user posts that are deactivated because they were tagged as SPAM
- Number of comments the user made
- Number of votes he/she made on other users' posts
- Posting frequency
Can I post SPAM?
