Noisetap ("we" or "us") only collects personal information in order to give you a customized and efficient experience on our site and as a member of our community. This Privacy Policy applies to information you submit to Noisetap and does not apply to any information you may submit to a Noisetap affiliated company. We collect and store the following information: name, email address, date of birth, country, zip code. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but doing so may affect your ability to be alerted to or take advantage of current and future website features. The personal information you provide is used for:
• Registration. You must be a registered member of Noisetap to post and rate stories on the site. Noisetap will send you a verifying email after you first register to be a member.
• Member profile. Your member profile is visible to other users and contains your codename, site rank, geographical location, and gives users the ability to browse stories that you have submitted.
• Social networking. In your My Account area, you can opt in and out of allowing other members to contact you via email. If you opt in, other members can write to you via Noisetap without being shown your personal email address.
• Newsletter. You may opt in or out of receiving the Noisetap newsletter containing site news and special announcements.
• Site Administration. Noisetap stores "traffic data" from your browser including your IP address, cookie information, and the page you requested in order to diagnose problems and improve the function of the site.

Noisetap cookies do not collect personal information and are only used to provide members with a customized, efficient experience on our site. You may change your account information at any time by selecting the My Account link on the top right of the page. You may request deletion of your Noisetap account by contacting us using the Contact link at the bottom right of the page.
You must be 13 years and older to register as a member of Noisetap. By registering, you represent yourself to be at least 13 years of age.
